Along with the recent addition of preview support for Sketch files and a wider range of raw photos, these new iOS features will help you work more easily with the tools you use every day. You’ll be able to set a default upload format-JPG for broader compatibility, or HEIF to preserve your original files and save space. We’ll also let you choose the photo format that works best for you. When you create a Dropbox link for a HEIF or HEVC file, anyone can preview them on or through our mobile apps, regardless of device or operating system. Since sharing is such an important part of how Dropbox helps you work with other people, we’re supporting these new formats when iOS 11 launches. ![]() One of the most exciting features in iOS 11 is the addition of more efficient HEIF image and HEVC video formats. So instead of jumping back and forth between apps, changes to Dropbox files opened in another app will automatically sync to your account. You’ll now be able to access files stored in your Dropbox account from supported third-party apps. This new integration also makes your Dropbox files available across the entire operating system. Connecting your Dropbox account to Files extends beyond the app itself. And if you have personal and work Dropbox accounts, you’ll be able to browse both in Files. From there, you can open, edit, move, rename, upload, create folders, and download files.
